All in the Family

The son of disgraced former state Controller Alan Hevesi, who like his father is under investigation, has quietly given up his business as a financial broker, the Daily News has learned.

Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has been probing a possible illegal payoff scam involving the massive state pension fund during Alan Hevesi's tenure from 2003 through 2006.

Cuomo is said to be looking into whether Hevesi's sons, Daniel and Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi, improperly benefited from their father's position.

Daniel Hevesi, who worked in the Queens borough president's office before becoming a state senator from 1999 through 2003, didn't get his license as a financial broker until 2004, his father's second year as controller, records show.

Hevesi's most recent filing with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority showed that as of late last month, he was no longer a registered broker.

While I never heard of the guy before I could tell he was a Democrat.
If he were a Republican it would have been mentioned in the article...

Awwww....Poor Danny.

It couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

When you treat people like crap, you should expect to have things like this happen to you. Karma.
