Middle Village halfway house

According to the building permit, this house at 75-16 Penelope Avenue in Middle Village is going through an enlargement of its 2nd floor. Not sure why you have to demolish the entire top floor and gut the first floor in order to square out the upper level. Well, I'm sure it's all legit. Can't wait to see the results. Well, at least it's not being converted to a multi-family. That's the worst. Looks like they are going to turn it into a side-hall colonial and won't be much wider than what is there now.

The point is, Italian Girl, that what they are doing is not what they got their permit for. You would need at minimum, a partial demo permit, as well as a construction fence around the perimeter of the property.

Not to mention plumbing and electrical permits.

One family for now. Wait until it gets sold. Then it may become a two family, maybe three or maybe a flop house.

In the old days in MV nobody dare make a mess, torture the neighborhood like that and get away with it.
.....They would get paid a visit and receive a talking.
