Back-to-back candidates nights

From the NY Observer:

Juniper Park Civic Association, a (surprisingly?) large and organized community group in western Queens, is hosting a debate for candidates in the June 3 special election to fill Dennis Gallagher’s City Council seat, and it will be followed the next day by a forum for candidates in the same race.

That debate is taking place Tuesday, May 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Hope, 61-21 71st Street in Middle Village.

Then, on Wednesday, May 21, there’s a candidates forum sponsored by the League of Preservation Voters and the Historic Districts Council. It's at 7 p.m. at P.S. 49, 79-15 Penelope Avenue.

Debating the Queens Special Election

The NY Observer would like to know what your questions for the candidates would be.

why is it surprising to the observer that a Queens civic could be large?

Idiots.

Especially since this Azi fellow worked for the Queens Tribune.

Because this Azi fellow, like so many other Queens weekly "reporters" act as mere stenographers for various elected officials.

So they never learn.

Never trusted him when he called, and he never did something unless it was something the machine wanted.

Be careful in dealing with these reporters - I do not trust any of them - and with something like Crap, you no longer have to fight with them to get the word out.

Just post here and cut them out of the loop.

Azi is in love not only with the Queens machine he never writes a story against any elected official.

His idea is to write a story about a pols fund raiser and even print the invite itself.

He works for a developer family who brough the obsever for his son Jared Kushner to play with.

The Kushner had one of their building fall down and stop metro north service for a day after they fail to fix falling brick problems after being told to by the city.

What pol would ever attack the Kushner developers who own a paper or now with the Dolans buying newsday who would attack the knicks.
