Commerce Bank to destroy LI history

AFTER six years of contention, Commerce Bank may at last be poised to win its battle to replace a somewhat battered Northport landmark with a modernist glass-and-brick branch office building.

End in Sight for Bank Standoff

The landmark in question, now vacant, most recently housed a restaurant. But underneath its various additions is the ancestral home of the Scudder family, one of the earliest in this waterside Northport village known as Cow Harbor.

Ugh, Commerce Bank. They'll tear down your neighborhood and then put murals of what it used to look like in their lobby...

The Northport people are going to get exactly what they deserve for not getting off there fat butts and voting.

Just like Manhasset these people are more interested in watching Ball games "fake realiety" garbage on the 60" Plasma TV election nights.

These young Democrats get in and thats the end of the town.

It Port Washington Isreali devolopers baught the Great Gatsby house....they will soon be in the landfill as well. It 15 acres subdivided for crap condos.
