One of the last nice places left in Queens. When I walk through the gardens I feel like I am in a quiet and well-kept suburb of Paris.
The gas station depicted in the last photogragh is not Metropolitan and Ascan Avenues, it is Metropolitan and 69 Road. It is now a vacant lot under construction.
I wonder where they saved the mercury lamps?
