Since when is Borden Avenue in Forest Hills. I guess they needed to use LIC to make Forest Hills look more "ghetto". This video would almost be funny if it wasn't so stupid.
Get a sense of humor, dude.
The point is to show the empire state building in the background like in the original video.

Sorry Crapper, watched it again to see what you found so funny about it. I still find it annoying.
Let's call it as it is. A foul-mouthed, pretentious, homophobic, overpriviledged yid biting the hand that fed him. If he were a Haitian, he'd be begging on his knees for that prune. Maybe those pear-shaped ladies depicted in the video should consult an attorney for libel and/or slander.

This is a PARODY of the Jay Z and Alicia Keys video.
The hip hop genre typically depicts life in the GHETTO or the "mean streets" of inner city life - of which Forest Hills is TOTALLY REMOVED - that's the JOKE here. And of course he does it in traditional "gangsta rap" style i.e. foul mouth and the slick dance moves.
Certainly Forest Hills is homogenizing like all our beloved old neighborhoods - hence the reference to Hooters and the Gap, etc. They're mocking society in GENERAL here - not Forest Hills.
For all the wonderful things Forest Hills is - it is NOT considered "cool" - NOT considered hep like Williamsburg or glamorous and sexy like Manhattan - it's pear-shaped old Russian women and Ben's Deli - "not that's there anything wrong with that" either.
She NAILS Alicia Keys' mannerisms - I'd LOVE to see more of her! She looks a little like Elaine from Seinfeld - she was hysterical!
He raps affectionately about his aunt - his hometown . . . . you didn't get it AT ALL George - not a minute of it.
I have to talk more about this video because I enjoyed so much.
Eichner does tumblesaults as opposed to the slick hip hop dance moves of hip hop like break dancing or moonwalking - that ALONE is funny and what you would expect from someone who most likely was on the Stuyvesant High School Math team - and lives in Forest Hills.
There is SOOOO much to laugh about in that video -
In one word: dreck. That's the video. These days, it's so hard to find a clean comedian.
All they talk about are penises and vaginas. When George Carlin did it, it was groundbreaking, but today's comics are imitators who lack their own unique style.

Carlin was actually paying homage to Lenny Bruce. He was the one who actually broke ground.
