Public Grocery? What a bland name, it's like something you'd see in a socialist country.
Even in post-socialist Bulgaria, I've never seen such rundown awnings.
It looks like someone was coming out of that grocery store, ready to give you a piece of his mind!
Some people get really bent out of shape when you photograph their business or home.
Yet another exmample of a borough well on its way to getting hollowed out.
The rest of the freakin city gets better and better and Queens sinks down bit by bit every year.
Leave Public Grocery Alone! look right round the corner at their development of the building nary a DOB permit in sight yet the place keeps on a growing. Watch out for their unleashed pit bull that roams the street. Have you bothered to purchase anything in Public Grocery? why would you?

Go further down to 61st Street to the nasty Christians with the big lousy neon cross and blasting music on Saturdays and Sundays. I witnessed an older Korean man leaning out his window screaming at a local resident one day. Such happy happy people. Look at the factory turned church next to that.
