A castle grows in Brooklyn

From Brownstoner:

When we checked in on 330 Clifton Place back in June, there was little reason to think that the two-family structure would turn out to be anything but ugly. And now we have confirmation. At least the eventual residents will have a place to put their archers should an enemy's cavalry decide to attack.

This building is ugly, no question, but there are a lot of apartment buildings in Brooklyn that have a sort of medieval look to them and are definitely not ugly.

Can I scale the ramparts and pour boiling oil on my landlord?
