Bell Blvd has always been one of my favorite shopping strips. Lately, it's been looking a little worn around the edges, however. And then there's the giant crap pile north of 35th Avenue. But have no fear...the Vallones are coming!

Fortunately, this area falls within the boundaries of Community Board 11 and not CB 7, which is often referred to as Bloomberg's Rubber Stamp.
That first picture is from wherethe Carvel used to be before a fire destroyed the place. Carvel has since moved 1 block South on the opposite side of the street.
thank you for the Bell Blvd. post. If you get a chance to take a photo of the two story deep hole at 196-29 42nd avenue at Francis Lewis Blvd. 175-300 (age 2-6) kids will be"cared "for there soon.Another "as of right" political/developer deal.

The auburndale improvement assoc. newsletter,"the voice"had a report last month on this CRAP, by H.Euler. The library at Northern Blvd. at F.Lewis blvd should have copies at doorway.
Behar really is the best choice in district 19. Politically Behar, Cooke, and Kim are similar, but Cooke can't win and Kim may be too tied to some of his larger and more prolific donor bases.
Behar doesn't owe anyone anything (except maybe Avella, who is endorsing him), and will definitely stand strong against these developer punks. Vallone won't do that, and Iannece is to much of a self-promoting hack to get anything done.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. Bell boulevard is nice. It was never able to be invaded by the third world.
One question tho.... why is that thing north of 35th avenue considered crap?
Oh Crappy, don't say that!
We don't want any Vallone around here.
That's a Lee Parker owned property, I believe.
You should have seen the impressive pressed zinc bracketed cornice that crowned the building before the fire....replete with lion's heads!
Now it's a stripped "Euro Stucco" skim coated piece of crap!
If that's so...the Parkers are rolling in dough.
Don't blame anyone else for this badly baked cake!
Aren't the landlords responsible for cheap upkeep which may have led to the fire?
By the way, that structure is SOUTH of 35 Avenue, not North. The Jackson Hole Diner is on the South East corner of Bell and 35 Avenue.
That's where I was standing when I took the photo - in front of Jackson Hole. Therefore, that structure is by the northwest corner.
Yup, looks like Steinway, Broadway, and 30th Ave.
The Vallone$ are coming, the Vallone$ are comiing.
Just you wait!

I have good news, Vallone is not coming because he won't win. His lies are going to bite him in the ass soon. The public can't be thst stupid.
the big hideous gray thing is indeed on the northwest corner of Bell and 35th.
Vallone needs to lose because he'll sell the district out.
Iannece can't win because he'll be a disgrace. Look up some of Avella's comments in the city hall news about Jerry being a laughingstock.
If either of those clowns win the primary I'm voting for Halloran

VOTE BEHAR and we'll have an advocate against crap like this.
