Parts of Queens will be sprayed for mosquitoes later this week to help prevent West Nile virus, the health department has announced.
Anvil, a synthetic pesticide, will be sprayed from trucks on Thursday night (Aug. 20) between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The following areas will be affected:
Mt. Olivet Cemetery
Lutheran Cemetery
St. John's Cemetery
Middle Village
Juniper Valley Park
Rego Park
Maspeth
Glendale
Elmhurst

Don't forget to take deep breaths! You can't get west nile virus...if you're dead!
How can you tell if it is Glendale or Ridgewood? If it goes by zip code, someone will not close their windows and will now be at a health risk! Yet another reason why a seperate zip code is needed!!!
