Bloomie stabs Queens GOP in the back

From The Politicker:

Here's a shot of Michael Bloomberg at a dinner hosted by the Queens Republican County Committee last week.

It's from the Queens Courier, which wrote in a caption that since the Queens G.O.P. endorsed Bloomberg for re-election, he "came to their Gala in Flushing to endorse their candidates for Borough President and City Council.

They would have been the first endorsements Bloomberg has made in the 2009 cycle. It also would have been a noteworthy development because the Republican candidate for Queens borough president, Robert Hornak, is trying to unseat the Democratic incumbent, Helen Marshall, who has been very supportive of Bloomberg.

Bloomberg campaign spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker emailed to say, "He did not endorse anyone at the event."

So he stood behind the guy's campaign poster but did not endorse him? He's planning to back up the incumbent tweeders? What the hell did the Queens GOP endorse him for if he won't return the favor?

What the hell did the Queens GOP endorse him for if he won't return the favor? For Big Bloomberg Bux, baby! If they're lucky he'll come through with some of that. But an endorsement from the Little Dick-tator? Fuhgettaboudit!

Bongo Boy Bloomie ska-rood them over royally -- and there's not a darn thing they can do about it now. Try to take him off their ticket in November? Ha! Doing that would only blow up in their faces big-time. As I said, their hands are tied, and they have only themselves to blame. They should have seen it coming. Duh!

The Queens Civic Congress is hosting a forum for all those running for mayor on May 17th. So far Avella and Thompson are coming. Bloombutt hasn't bothered confirming his attendance. Maybe he's just too important to grace us all with his presence. He'll likely be filming one of those phony commercials showcasing how he really "understands the middle class".

What a turd.

Well, reading the remarks here it seems that most don't yet get reality:

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS DEAD IN NYS.

This is a long term trend that even the former head of the conservative party George Marlin acknowledged at least three years ago.

They will now become a regional party capable of electing only on the -very- local level.

Even the gop's "great white hope" Giuliani trails Mario Cuomo's son by 14 points.

I personally loathe most republicans and can't understand why the average person would vote for people that only -really- represent the wealthy.

Still, I do think our state is best served by having at least one other viable party.

Just keep them as watch dogs, not as leaders.

Good for them! Thats what the Queens GOP gets for endorsing this asshole in the first place. This man is not to be trusted. I implore all New Yorkers NOT to vote for this arrogant ass!

How does that knife up your ass feel Mr. Ragusa?

It serves you brain dead GOP dummies right.

The Republican party is being interred in a private ceremony at St. Mike (Bloomberg's) Cemetery later this week...HA, HA, HA !

If anyone cares to attend Phil will be serving espresso!

What a chooch!

VOTERS TAKE THIS AS LESSON...A PORTENT OF WHAT FOUR MORE YEARS OF DOOMBERG WILL BE LIKE.

YOU'LL GET KNIFED IN THE BACK ONCE HE'S HAD HIS WAY WITH YOUR VOTES!

SHOW THIS EGOTISTICAL BASTARD THE DOOR OUT OF CITY HALL!

BOOT THE BUM OUT!
