Mayor de Blasio accuses the MTA of protecting Cuomo for bringing up the rise in subway crime

It’s never DeBlasio’s fault .
He was elected because no one trusted Crissie Quinn's harpy voice.
Pretty sad that a city of this ability has a shoddy choice of elected officials.
Why would the MTA protect Cuomo?
Cuomo has always short-changed the MTA when it comes time to get more funding.
Instead of giving them the money they need to fix the subways, decaying ceilings, subway tunnels, putting air conditioning in every station and elevators in every station to help the handicap and the disabled, Cuomo pretends he is not in charge of the MTA.
He said he was not in charge of the MTA during the last governor's election.
Cuomo seems more concern of giving tax breaks to large businesses and helping certain residents who fund his campaigns.
Cuomo stated "I don't believe raising taxes on the rich". That would be the worst thing to do. You would just expand the shortfall. God forbid if the rich leave".
This is the same Governor who sign and enacted the NYS Bail Reform Laws which let violent repetitive criminals back on the streets to commit their hatefully acts of terror on innocent law-abiding citizens.
Many of these violent criminals and the mentally ill live in the NYC subway system and are weekly attacking riders and many of the MTA employees who work there. But you don't here a peep from Cuomo about these heinous crimes or rescinding the Bail Reform Laws so judges and the police can do their jobs to keep them off the streets.
Instead, he is basking in the $ 5 million dollars he received for writing his book and ignoring the calls and pleas from New Yorkers who want the violent criminals back in prison and out of the subway system.
Deblasio is upset the MTA is frequently reporting the high rise of crime in the subways and on the buses?
So what is he saying? They should not report on any crime that occurs so he and his wife, "the fake activist for the mentally ill" could look good for the public?
It is the job of the MTA, and the local media to report the crimes that takes place in the subways and in the city.
This shows that Deblasio and his policies are not working to help and protect the innocent and working class of NYC.
Deblasio is too ashamed to admit his policies have failed and does not want coverage on it.
Reporting on his failed policies and not acknowledging the high crimes would hurt his "public image."

It seems like a majority of the victims are members of the black and brown community. So since BLM represents them maybe BLM can set up a volunteer safety patrol since they don't want police, in order to keep members of their community safe.

Cuomo should give all of his 5 million dollar payout to the families of those who died in nursing homes during the pandemic.
Also give that money to the victims of hate crimes, the MTA employees who were attacked by the mentally ill and to the citizens who were attacked by the violent criminals he allowed back on the streets when he sign the NYS Bail Reform Law.
But no city council member, no law-maker, and no politician will ever have the nerve to say that to him. -Cowards
