Woodhaven house a gang hangout

From the Daily News:

A grimy Woodhaven building that hosted a fatal party last year continues to be a house of horrors, neighbors said.

The dilapidated three-story building was the scene of a birthday bash in March 2011 that led to the murder of 18-year-old Anthony Collao, who was beaten to death after being taunted with gay slurs, even though friends said he was not gay.

Since then the house, at 87-19 90th St., has become known in the neighborhood as a den of violence, noise and possible gang activity, residents said.

“It’s been a disaster for the past few years,” said a neighbor who requested anonymity. “People go in and out of the house constantly because there are parties. It’s loud. It’s a total mess.”

The resident said he called the cops nearly a dozen times in the past year.
“Cops said they can’t do anything about it,” he said, adding that police told him gang members live there.

Instead of waiting for the political skunks to act on this...let a couple of real skunks loose in that house and watch those gang-bangers exit fast!

The city lists this address as an after school program site.

#1...
all of those 3 are out of order,
and haven't worked for years.

LOL...
call the repairman!

I think the repair men and women are the voters.

Damn right the police can do something. It's called trespassing. If they don't own the house the partiers have no right to be there (duh). Don't be lazy--arrest them for trespassing. And the pols can sponsor this house for low-income homeownership programs so someone can finally rehabilitate and claim this property. Hmm, maybe the skunk idea isn't so bad.

You want the police PDQ?

GUN....GUN....I saw someone with a gun!

The only time that you can depend on a cop
to respond quickly is:

"GUN"; "OFFICER DOWN";
"PICK UP THOSE DONUTS FOR THE CHIEF, NOW!".

Spoken like a real lawyer. Who will testify that they didn't have "permission and authority" to be there? The absentee owner?

Unfortunately the police won't do a thing. I know of people as well as myself that have called them to assist in a situation and they have not bothered to show up. This includes a hit and run and theft. This town is not what it used to be. Very very sad.
