Bloomberg lied about swine flu victim

From the NY Post:

Bonnie Wiener, wife of Assistant Principal Mitchell Wiener, said her husband could have not fallen ill -- and ended up on a ventilator -- had the Health Department and Department of Education officials closed IS 238 in Hollis sooner.

"They're trying to make him into a sick, old man," Bonnie Wiener told The Post this morning.

She said her 55-year-old husband -- who has the most severe illness in the city from the virus to date -- had told officials last week that the school should be closed.

Bonnie Wiener said the city "lulled us into a false sense of security" when it came to the swine fever outbreak.

Contrary what Mayor Bloomberg reported yesterday, he does not have a preexisting condition, she said Wiener only suffers from controlled high blood pressure and is otherwise in good health.

Wiener's kids also came to their father's defense, saying he's not a sick man.

"He does not have any diabetes and does not have any heart issues," said Adam Wiener, 23. "It was very rough last night... He's still in critical condition. I believe it all to be caused by swine flu."

Mrs. Wiener, you didn't know Bloomidiot is a genius? He knows everything about everyone. Haven't you seen his latest commercials? He's going to be solving all of our problems. He's a genius!

As for shutting down the free babysitting service, excuse me, schools..... How will people arrange for childcare?
As if for some reason it's the school's problem....

But Tom Frieden (Bloomie's best bud) is such a good pubic servant...

Typical behavior of Commissar Death and Taxes.

He commands that you shut up and die, just do it! Like the woman who happily announced that she was pregnant: He commanded that she "Kill it!"

Don't let a swine flu epidemic that he wants hidden interfere with his campaign!

Anyway. Assistant Principal Wiener is just the unfortunate victim of a coincidence that his name is almost identical to the Commissar's most hated and vilified opponent, Anthony Weiner.

So, taking no chances that the flu victim is his opponent in disguise, the Commissar has to attack him by lying.

Can we take ANY chance that this reptile will ever get back on our payroll?

Vote on November 3. Dump the Commissar! You will be all the healthier for that action.

I am reminded of what Mayor Turdberg told me in 2004:

Yes -dump bloomberg; but please don't give in to hysteria. The swine is just another strain of a serious virus. Only one american out of the hundereds who have taken ill has died, and she was already on the way out.

Your numbers are off. More than one American has died, and this most recent victim is practically on life support but was not "on his way out" prior to becoming sick.

sad you can so easily say someone was on their way out? hope your family doesn't catch the swine virus. bloomass should of closed all schools until this past. doesn't surprise me at all that other areas are getting hit, it's a virus and spreads, derrr...and our great president should of stopped all travels in/out of mexico.

Bonnie Wiener said the city "lulled us into a false sense of security" when it came to the swine fever outbreak.

No, no- Bonnie did not say that, Bonnie's Attorney said that via Bonnie's mouth. Theres a reason why those few words are quoted. They just want to sue the city.

After watching the news, Mrs. Wieners gives the impression that they just want to sue. At this point anyone can get sick, more so if you spend a lot of time with kids, office coworkers, lot's of people (NYC), etc. Please, wash your hands, eat healthy, and exercise to try to minimize viruses and germs infections.

Why is Dr. Bloomberg commenting publicly about a person's medical history. Is that not illegal? Can he be indicted for that? This week he was deposed, next week...cuffs and a perp walk? (The raincoat goes over the cuffs, sir.)

They can't sue the city because the husband is covered under Worker's Compensation. This bars lawsuits for work-related injuries.

I wish them well. Worker's Compensation has healed more sick and dying them Jesus. When the state has to pay, the lame walk, the blind see and the deaf hear.

Der Fuhrer Bloomberg has been proven to be a chronic and habitual liar so why should he be telling the truth now?

DUMP THE PIG or face four more years of his wealthy oligarchy!

I hate Bloomberg as much as the rest of you, but you cannot pin this one on him. There is more to this story than you know.

Let's see...he was in charge of the city when a major outbreak of disease happened. He failed to act to protect the citizenry. He sure showed up for the photo op when St. Francis Prep was reopened, though. Then he distracted the electorate from the issue while spending millions campaigning for an illegal term. He was warned about the schoolchildren showing symptoms but did nothing. And he didn't ask the City's number one doctor, an infectious disease specialist, to hold off on accepting a position with the Obama administration until we were through this crisis.

I would say this lands squarely in his lap.

I know Mitch Wiener and my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

They are not the type to want to sue.. I spoke to a family member yesterday and that is the last thing on their mind.

It didn't break the news yet but there are children at PS 79 in Whitestone who are sick as well.. it'll prob break in the news in the next week or two when they shut the school, if they even care to acknowledge the case which they'll probably pass it off as just another child with 'symptoms' but not the flu

Bloomshit is an arrogant fuck! I hate him. First the pregnancy discrimination, now the swine flu. By the way, the comment about Workmen's Compensation is incorrect. In NYC schools, the teachers and principals DO NOT have Workmen's Compensation. They are supposed to just use their health insurance (generally GHI). I know because my ex-wife got hurt at work and we went to the ER, they processed it as Workmen's Compensation, only to find out that teachers don't have Workmen's Comp! Hence, Bloomshit, you are on the hook! By the way, if Bloomshit had ever told my wife to kill my baby, I would have ensured that he wouldn't have lived to become our mayor!
