Shady side of the street

Never thought you'd see the day when a pink piece of Fedders crap was plopped in between the tasteful apartment buildings north of Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside, right? Well, unfortunately, that day has come.

Why doesn't someone write a letter to Team Gioia and ask them to stop this?

Why doesn't someone write a letter to the community and ask them to stop this?

Why doesn't someone write a letter to the Queens weaklies and aske why someone doesn't stop this?

Team Gioia is seeking higher office and has no use for queens. The community (boards) are puppets for the electeds, and the weaklies are misspelled so for a good reason.

I don't understand why any building built after WWII wouldn't have central air? Surely in 2008, we have the means to do better than lousy windows A/C units?

Book Club... to add to this... I do exterior restoration work... Many buildings that I inspect have dilapidated A.C units that rust..No one uses them. We advise our clients(coop/condo management companies) to seal up these units because the tenants install their own A.C.'s. Believe me over time these units will rust and decay to add "je ne se quoi" to these monstrosities...
