Jim on film

From the NY Observer:

Jim Gennaro, the silver-haired City Councilman who chairs the Environmental Committee, is featured in a new film that’s being screened at Sundance Film Festival, along with Woody Harrelson and Julia Roberts.

Gennaro on the Big Screen

The documentary, called "Fields of Fuel” investigates the causes of and possible solutions to the United States’ dependency on foreign oil.

Meanwhile, the causes of and possible solutions to local environmental problems, like flooding, are on the backburner. He must be in consultation with the Doorman.

Jimmy "the gent" Gennaro....
another political/mobster....
doesn't give a fig for local issues.....
let alone his constituents wishes.....
so long as his pockets continue to be lined
by the NYC real estate/building industry !

I am glad he has found a career that interest him. He should resign his City Council post to persue film. Good luck!

Worry not. While he's off saving the planet, the local problems will take care of themselves.

Besides, what if he actually worked to solve the local problems. What would there be for his successor to do? Go out and make movies to save the world from trans-fat? Or, save the world from a deli that hangs sausage in the window?

Are you sure it's not being screened at
The Developers' Lap-dance Film Festival ?

He must be tickled silly in front of the cameras as he can't walk into a room without requesting to have his picture taken. Jim is in love with Jim! I hope he found his true calling because we desperatly need a new councilperson, one that doesn't speak thru both sides of his mouth!
