Isabella Sophia Sears was born at Elmurst Hospital in Queens.

Her parents are Yvonne Daza and Stuart Sears. Isabella is the granddaughter of Councilwoman Helen Sears.

"I watched as the ball came down and Isabella came into the world, together, simultaneously there they were," said Councilwoman Sears. "It was just wonderful."

I am glad you are healthy girls, but sorry that you were born in a borough so full of crap. Maybe your generation will turn things around...

Tough luck on the timing.

The article should focus on the LAST babies born on Dec. 31. Those parents would have gotten an IRS dependent write-off for 2007.

Most people are tax strategy ignorant.

Good one George. Are we the most fecund borough? THe world will be a better place if we outbreed Brooklyn, The Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island.
