Let me get this straight. A man is killed outside one of the most popular and crowded movie theaters in Queens which happens to be less than three blocks from the Police Academy?? This place has been problematic from the start when it opened back in the late 90's. I remember watching The Matrix there and security fighting with some assholes who simply walked in without paying and started and all out brawl.
"And this happened in College Point too. A quiet suburban like area not unlike Brownsville."
what an ignorant comment. College Point, while the quality of life has gradually decreased over the years, is nothing like Brownsville. as a resident of this community for decades i have watched it slowly decay. but to compare it to the dregs of Brownsville, HA
Strange, sounds targeted. Doesn't seem like the sort of issues that followed the clubs in the Maspeth's industrial area which I frequented in my less responsible days. Also willing to bet nobody involved was a fan of hainanese chicken rice. I was just there last week getting my license renewed...
Last anon. Yes, and she didn't get into trouble she started it. This woman shows that there is a putrid gilded age going on in NYC and pretty much any town in America (Cue chidlish gambino song) being enabled by celebrity fan worship by today's youth and the starfucking electeds that let these "talents" cause havoc with impunity (hell, there is a tour itenerary for the real housewives of new york and the places they get loaded and have fights in)
And to the anon. That was a typo, it should say not like. I actually realized it when I clicked the button too.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap

"Started in a nearby strip club." Where else? All this latest - and not so latest - bang-bang starts at strip clubs.
CP avenues in the 20s are dangerous

This is strange. Considering that the four thugs let the girlfriend live and they abandoned the dead guy's car and left a gun behind.

Wasn't College Point the center for Crack distribution back in the day? Such a quiet bucolic neighborhood!
What happened to all those gun laws that make it impossible for anyone but criminals to carry? Didn't these guys know about them? s/
Isnt this around the same strip club that cardI b got into trouble in?
I THINK THE POINT IS THAT THE AREA SHOULD HAVE ADEQUATE POLICE PROTECTION BECAUSE OF ITS VICINITY TO THE ACADEMY.

Strange indeed. The fight started in the strip club. Were they wearing masks in the club?

Were they all wearing leather trenchcoats and dodging bullets with uncanny speed?
There are no cops at the Police Academy......why do you think they “work” there?
