Skelos gets 4 years

From Newsday:

Former State Senate Republican powerbroker Dean Skelos and his son Adam both unexpectedly won reduced sentences in Manhattan federal court Wednesday for their corruption convictions in a retrial of charges the senator shook down companies to get $300,000 in jobs and fees for Adam.

U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood, who sentenced the father and son to prison terms of 5 and 6-1/2 years in 2016 for their later-reversed convictions on the same extortion conspiracy charges, cut Dean Skelos’ sentence to 4 years 3 months and Adam’s to 4 years in the wake of their July retrial.

Despite the reductions, the judge said she wanted the sentences of the two Long Island men to send a message that would reverberate in Albany, where ethical missteps and indictments have become a routine occurrence in recent years.

Great a chance to quote my favorite line from Goodfellas: Bye bye, Dickhead.

Now do Sheldon Silver.

She may have to resend the message, Albany didn’t get it

Shrug. Still gets his $100,000+ pension while in jail.

It sure does. It sends the message that the punishment will be far less severe than the crime.

Right! What can one say?

I know of petty criminals who are serving right away and sentenced to MORE time than merely four years. The justice system is junk justice, and this latest round of preferential treatment to heinous government criminals is why there is presently societal collapse, and anarchy in the streets BECAUSE of the 1% and their hostile, predatory and RAPACIOUS elitism that has long ago CRUSHED all pretense of egalitarianism, not to mention honest, ethical, leadership that leads by example.

We've already lost faith in flag and country because they are controlled by Zionist Israel. Meanwhile, an openly practicing mob boss named Mario's ugly-nosed son is going to coast along to an illegal, publicly unauthorized third term, with impunity.

And, your Queens Crap arbiters STILL wonder why lawlessness and anarchy abound???

NO LIVES MATTER—EXCEPT THEIR OWN PARASITIC LIVES OF KLEPTOCRACY—WHILST We, the People continually pay, IN PERPETUITY, for the 1% crimes against humanity by these voracious, predatory and RAPACIOUS 'Monetary Locusts,' all of whom continually (and continuously) destroy life for ALL living things, with a vengeful impunity that is unprecedented, to date!

WORSE, they are ALL MENTALLY ILL with 'NAKED GREED' and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), two forms of mental illness for which there IS no cure - and, the ever languishing public be eternally duped, bilked, RAPED, robbed, scammed, SCARRED FOR LIFE, and damned!

Not enough time. Should have gotten ten or more years in the joint. Federal time will be a cake walk for him and his crook son.

It sure was a smart move by the Gov to disband the Moreland Commission before it can investigate him!
