Speaking on behalf of Queens' illegals

From Queens Latino via Lost in the Ozone:

Teresa Jurado and Rubiela Liliana Arias Sanchez spoke on behalf of workers in the World Financial Center (WTC) who were hit by the rubble of the Twin Towers, many of whom "are not receiving proper medical care and are dying," Sánchez said. "Many are undocumented persons and need help."

Sara Jaramillo Jara Ruth also spoke of the organization Make the Road New York. "I ask homeowners not to increase rents and not to abuse the rights of immigrants living in crowded conditions, and the councilman told me something different Dromm related to the homosexual community," said Jaramillo.

Responding to another question to Dromm, she said it is necessary to "convert illegal basements in order to find spaces to live." Another issue that Dromm has always approached from his the beginning of his political campaign is the creation of a center to serve the day laborers seeking work in the street.

Let's make it mandatory to convert basements into apartments so great masses of illegal aliens have a place to live. I'm surprised that law hasn't already been introduced and passed by the City Council.

I still never understand how people can do things illegally and get hurt, yet put the blame on the wrong person. If they didn't do something illegally they wouldn't have been hurt and the money could go to the hard working people and families who need it.There are tons of people hurt by 911 that have paid taxes all their life but won't get as much benefits and these people will. I don't mean to sound harsh but when are we gonna say enough is enough. Ship these people back where they came from. This country was built on people who came here illegally but became legal, stayed here, payed taxes, learned the language and pledged allegiance to this country.

No shit Crappy, and don't worry a bill like that is coming. Nobody wants to open their mouths till after November.
The recent Census fiasco may have been a Trojan for such a bill. Those people came to my house in Ridgewood 2 times already

Q-C You are going off the deep end here.

NO one will EVER force you to make ANY part of your precious abode available to anyone.

If anything we'll need new legislation to stop greedy shits from illegally converting parts of their homes to cash-in on the influx.

I know, I know you were just joking...

Cash-in on the influx ?
Who the hell wants these criminals, drunks and perpetually pregnant females in there homes ?
They pay 2 months rent, trash your house and it takes you 4 months in court with some tweed loving Democrat judge to send a sheriff to do a eviction.
16+ months if the female is pregnant or with a young child wile you pay the electric and heat or YOU go to jail.

--Spoken like a true landlord who tried it. Well leech there seem to be no shortage of people who'll break the law to make an extra buck...ask your neighbors.

Teresa Jurado and Rubiela Liliana Arias Sanchez are probably illegals themselfs - INS investigate who they are aiding and abetting in forstering crimes against the USA.

Let's make it mandatory to convert basements into apartments so great masses of illegal aliens have a place to live. - So are the landlords of these illegal dwellings paying taxes on rent received?
If there is a fire and the housing code was not followed by illegal dwellings harboring illegal people and burned my house in the process - will the City be responsible for my medical to my family and damage to my property?

and there you have it, the reason this once great nation is going down the drain.

Are they going to take care of the families of the firefighters who get hurt in the fires of these illegal dwellings. Or how about the surrounding houses that sustain damage. Unbelievable that these people go out and try and gain support before they think through the consequences of these illegal dwellings.

OMG! who asked this person to stand up for the illegals? it's time to start passing some AZ laws. Any company who hires ILLEGALS should be fined!
