Bloomberg just an Archie Bunker!

From the NY Times:

Since winning a third term in November, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has announced a parade of major appointments: bringing aboard three new deputy mayors and six commissioners and trumpeting most of those arrivals in the Blue Room at City Hall.

All nine are white. All but one is a man.

Those selections are hardly anomalous. Despite a pledge he made when he took office to make diversity a hallmark of his administration, Mr. Bloomberg has consistently surrounded himself with a predominantly white and male coterie of key policy makers, according to an analysis of personnel data by The New York Times.

The city’s non-Hispanic white population is now 35 percent, because of an influx of nonwhite immigrants and other demographic changes in the past two decades.

But Mr. Bloomberg presides over an administration in which more than 70 percent of the senior jobs are held by whites, and he has failed to improve on the oft-criticized diversity record of Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani.

Wonder how much Bloomberg paid Professor Berg for his damage control.

Funny, on one hand Bloomturd tells us that we MUST HAVE immigration and HB-1 visas so that we can hire all these wonderful geniuses who can do jobs that us "stupid" Americans can't do, or are no longer willing to do. Where are all those wonderful guys named Jose and Juan amongst Bloomturd's staff? Oh, I see, they're pruning the hedges out front.

Yet, this article is just another example of the stupid, eternal obsession of our white liberal elites with DIE-versity. People like Bloomberg and Lino preach one thing in public, yet if you look around their neighborhood, there's not much diversity of anything, especially diversity of opinion.

Here's another stupid example of the obsession with diversity. A white liberal woman wrings her hands over lack of diversity in ballet. Sounds like the least of her problems. Too much time on her hands:

You people can enjoy the tastes and smells of vibrant diversity over there in Queens.

As for me, I shall enjoy the company of handsome younger white men here in the city hall bullpen.

Thank you very much.

You rang?

Still smarting from our last encounter?...Good.

Put me in with Bloombag?, fine but while we live a block apart there are only about 40 million people in the scale of wealth between he and I.

As for the supposed lack of diversity of opinion where I live my area, the former 10021 was cited as having given the most contributions to the McCain/Moron campaign in '08.

As for that review you linked...asshole, did you even bother to read the whole thing? Out of an entire page you obsessed on part of -one paragraph-.

You are one of those pathetic little ants whose entire consumption of data and literary content is filtered to serve your narrow interests.

Have a great summer.

How many paragraphs on diversity should the article have contained in order to meet your high standards? 2? 3? 4? 7? Every paragraph?

Should their be a committee that decides such things?

Perhaps a "Newspaper Article Czar" should be appointed by the Obama administration to oversee and decide such things?

I'll bet my point is too subliminal for your way of "thinking".

Except that he's not. And was a Democrat longer than he was a Republican. I think you meant to say, "typical hypocritical liberal."

"oft criticzied Guliani..."

The only person who "oft" critcized Rudy was Rev. Al.

How about hiring the best person for the job? If that person happens to be WHITE, so be it.

Enough with this affirmative action BS.

I agree, Screw affirmative action - it wasn't meant to be used for just giving away jobs to the incompetents.

it is hypocritical though that he says he loves illegals - just not around him - let us eat cake - er..

That you again "Deke"? really think you are clever...not.

The article in question was a -review- NOT a screed on racial bias. It was fair, though unnecessary, for the author to bring it up. It was typical of an ideological idiot such as yourself to dwell on it.

"I'll bet my point is too subliminal for your way of "thinking"."

...Are you looking for the word "subtle"?

Be seeing you.

Did you finish High school or any of your English classes?

Bloomberg people is a classic republican who does not want regulation of the financial industry at all to name a few of his traits. I'm sure he giggles at synthetic derivatives being instituted downtown.
