Another hospital bites the dust

From the Daily News:

Two months after St. Vincent's Hospital was shuttered, North General Hospital in Harlem announced Monday it's closing its doors July 2 and filing for bankruptcy.

The news stunned many hospital workers and patients.

North General's main building is being converted into a nursing care facility that will be run by the city Health and Hospitals Corporation.

There also are plans for a federally subsidized clinic operated by the Institute for Family Health and serving some 80,000 people annually, officials said.

Where is Gov Paterson and his former gang of four to help save vital health care to their area? Charlie Rangle where are you; the Dominican Republic?

There is plenty the Mayor could have done about this, he controls the City owned Health and Hospitals Corp.

The state government is flat broke.

Charlie is not in the Dominican Republic this week, he's celebrating the 4th of July toasting the Queen at the home of the Mayor in Bermuda.

Keep packing all the illegal aliens in and keep overdeveloping our boroughs. Too many people and too few hospitals. Wait until NYC is attacked again. Wait until the next super virus emerges. Where will all the injured and sick people go? Politicians really don't care. Just disgusting. Make sure you vote all the incumbents out come November. If you don't -- you have no right to complain.

Vote them all out! Your life and your health may depend on it!
