This was the scene last week at Grover Cleveland Park in Ridgewood. They laying down artificial turf on what once was much more durable concrete. Why? I don't know. Someone apparently wanted a contract. The pellets used in this field spilled out into the street. In summer months, when the field is used the most, it will be too hot to play on.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap

Finally. It has long been supposed to be done. They finally remembered to do it
I'm confused.
Isn't artificial turf suppose to be used in doors where they can't grow the real stuff? Of course its to hot to play on, its plastic?!?
