I don't know what's worse, this or the Mariachi Brothers on the subways.

I guess it beats a gang murder at Broadway.

Nice to see hipster comedians have found fun outside Manhattan.

These are hipsters to you?? These are wanna be improv "comedians" from an East coast state above here with no talent obviously that were frat kids or your average conventional college kid.
Are they even trying to be creative or funny? Nice voices kids.
No there just attention whores. I guess Upright Citizens Brigade accepts anyone now days.

Ahh, I can always come to Queens Crap to find the grumpies with no sense of humor. I can hear the objections already... "But this isn't comedy! This isn't art!" Yes, yes, the Queens Crap grumpies seem to have final judgment on what qualifies as different types of entertainment.

By the way, these aren't necessarily "wannabe comics." If you've never heard of Improv Everywhere, do a little of your own research online. They're all over the place (hence the "everywhere") and they don't just do song and dance numbers in supermarkets. In particular, check out Grand Central Freeze. Their audiences generally seem pleased.

Except no one here said that. They just said they didn't like it.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and it wasn't the "Queens grumpies."

Nobody said those things YET. I was just anticipating the inevitable. Mention Astoria (or LIC), mention artists/comedians/etc., and everyone becomes an expert on good taste.

To me these things are pretty subjective. And while I may not like it and you may not like it, someone out there probably does. Live and let live.

Yeah, maybe I got up on the wrong side of the bed. But I'm supportive of the Improv Everywhere efforts - they seem like good, entertaining fun - while four of the first five comments in this thread were cynical or just plain negative. The naysayers outnumber me so I'm the "grumpy"? So be it.

It is human nature to criticize the things we don't like rather than praise what we like. Don't take it personally.
