NYC election is a national disgrace

From Room Eight:

We cannot possibly forget how Mike got the Republican and Independence lines. Right, it was his money. Clarence Norman went to jail for $5,000 while Bloomberg has purchased his lines for well over $500,000. It's all in the nuance.

There were also those Democrat talking heads, Hank Scheinkopf, Howard Wolfson, and Andrea Schlessinger. There, too, the common denominator is money. Yes, Hank, Howard, and Andrea, we know that it was Bloomberg's tremendous talents that brought you on board. After all he was able to build two baseball stadiums squandering billions in tax payer dollars. Here is a Mayor who has shown real Democrat principles.

I was deeply concerned five years ago when Bloomberg and Kelly arrested law abiding citizens who only wanted to protest the Republican National Convention's coming to town. It was a disgrace. That, however, pales in comparison to the fact that Bloomberg has single handedly arrested democracy in New York City. We will recover, but we will forever be considered a national disgrace. Bloomberg clearly learned a lot from Iran.

Let us not forget what Bloomtard said in 2004 about new stadiums to a Flushing audience just before he ran for re-election:

And he accuses Thompson of flip-flopping. Hey Bloomtard! Look in a mirror lately???

NO THIRD TERM! NO THIRD TERM! NO THIRD TERM! NO THIRD TERM! NO THIRD TERM! NO THIRD TERM! NO THIRD TERM!

Get out and vote

The real disgrace might be if the downtrodden voters actually give him his 3rd term!

Fall asleep at the wheel of democracy and you'll wind up in a head on collision with a tyrant!

You'll get totaled and he'll hand the taxpayers the bill for restoring his Ferrari!

Good job Room Eight.

------

Vote Thompson on Nov. 3rd.

Disgrace is in 3 quarters:

1. elected officials - and the civic toadies who treat them like royality when they are all like Monster Rat

2. the 'media capital of the world' has joined the 'auto capital of the world' and the 'steel-making capital of the world' as a backwater (stay tuned - should you protect your pets from swine flu!)

3. out Manhattan elite who live on tax subsidies and expolited workers/tenants and regard themselves as 'Citizens of the World' and not New Yorkers

Ugh. Would you guys give iit a rest already. Bloomberg has already won the election, there is nothing that you can do about it and every other article posted here is about how Bloomberg is a turd. I used to get good information about Queesns from here. All its turned into is a smear campaign against the Mayor. Got a grip and get over it.

No, we won't give it a rest.

To summarize, go fuck yourself.

Dont forget about his friend Tom Ognibene. Some Dope came to my house last night and told me to vote for ognibene.

Meanwhile, he is killing bloomie for signing an executive order.

Although this person is unfortunately most likely correct, that does not mean that we should stop venting about this little nanny cocksucker. All you hear and see everywhere you go, is praise for the scumbag. Cause ya know, he OWNS EVERYTHING. Places like this are needed...

bloombergwatch.com is another great one...

THIS IS THE KIND OF PERSON WHO TELLS A RAPE VICTOM TO LAY BACK AN ENJOY IT.

BLOOMBERG HAS DONE THE CITY A GREAT SERVICE. YES HE WILL BE REELECTED.

BUT AT THE COST OF DRIVING A PERMANENT CREDIBILITY GAP BETWEEN US AND OUT ELITES.

THAT WILL TAKE TIME.

BUT IT WILL END UP BITING YOU ALL IN THE ASS.

THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL GET BY IS BLOOMBERG.

This is what really kills me - there are people actually volunteering for his campaign? Why on earth would any sane person volunteer for a billionaire? He should be paying these people!
And if I hear him blather on one more time about "streamlining" city services I'll vomit.

I really don't know what to do about this. At the very least, I am happy about the economic crisis to take money out of eminent domain projects.

Do you think Thompson will be any better? Thompson wins and becomes mayor, everyone complains. Bloomberg wins everyone complains.

You lose no matter who gets elected, it just a matter of how bad you dont lose.

I am not optimistic about a Thompson admin. But I am less pessimistic about one than another 4 yrs. for Bloomberg. Thompson doesnt have the $$$ to appease NYers. He cant buy them off like B. At least he will be somewhat reactive to public concerns.

If you're so sure of a slam dunk victory all of you Bloomberg trolls wouldn't find the need to post here.
