Staten Island dump transformed into a park

The City Concealed: Freshkills Park Project from Thirteen.org on Vimeo.

In Staten Island they took a dump and made it into a park. In Queens, we take parks and turn them into dumps.

We also take dumps...and turn them into politicians!!!

As a matter of fact, the dump I took this morning looked just like Claire...and it smelled like her too!

You dont need parks in Queens. If papa works 12 hour days in the kitchen cleaning pots as moma makes beds in hotel rooms, they don't have time.

... and the kids can play in the streets just like in the old coooontry.

Welcome to the new New York: the city as it was in 1909.
