Scarano subway stop-work order

A controversial Brooklyn architect has been ordered to stop work on a luxury condo complex after neighbors complained that construction workers had drilled into L-line subway walls.

WORK SITE'S 'L' HELL

The Department of Buildings slapped Robert Scarano with the stop-work order Friday after construction workers were accused of almost creating a nightmare on the subway line while digging a massive hole for a nine-unit project called "The Modern" in Williamsburg.

don't shoot the piano player, when you lose your money at the poker table. architects are under paid, over responsible, blame game pawns, compared to real estate brokers and lawyers and most over all the elected officials, who can't think beyond their 4 years in office. pointing a finger at a scape goat is so stupidly easy and so 1861 and what did blaming the southern states do for the black man. a 100 years later the black man stood up for himself. will architects have to wait 100 years before they say to the world here i am and the world would not even exist if it wasn't for us architects.

They may be scapegoats, but this guy has a very looooong history of getting away with murder (literally) at his construction sites. Therefore, that he is connected to this latest incident comes as no surprise. This joker should lose his license already.

He certainly seems to have a "La Famiglia" face....doesn't he ?

Why is this murderer still being permitted to build in NYC ?

I though his "architect's" license was supposed to be revoked .

What a scabby piece of slime!

U PEOPLE ARE STUPID . it is the responsibility of the CONTRACTORS to keep their employees safe, not the architects. Remember: contractors are supposed to have the insurance to cover incidents on job sites, not architects.
