Now that's a vintage storefront that should be preserved and integrated into whatever the area is about to become.

A little TLC and imagination goes a long way.

The area needs a historic district to save all old Long Island City downtown.

Maybe HDC or City Lore will help the community and follow their mandates.

Maybe I can win the lottery.

Well then, the storefront can easily be restored. It's called an exterminator, a can of paint and a paintbrush.

If this storefront were in Williamsburg or Greenpoint, people would be clamoring to save it. But it's in LIC, home to the community board from hell.
