Pinky hires mob attorney

SEX-RAP POL'S SLICK LAWYER

Accused of rape and facing up to 25 years behind bars, City Councilman Dennis Gallagher has hired legal big shot Benjamin Brafman...

"I can confirm that I have been retained to represent Councilman Gallagher," Brafman said yesterday...

Gallagher, 43, from Middle Village, Queens, tapped Brafman over the weekend...
Perhaps DA Brown has more than a "he said she, said case" vs. Pinky if he felt the need to hire such an expensive attorney. Brafman first made a name for himself as a mafia defense attorney and later defended Michael Jackson and Puff Daddy.

He 'tapped' his attorney over the weekend? Will someone please take Pinky's Viagra away?

Good luck paying for that guy pal.

I guess all of Gallagher's time spent hanging out in bars of ill repute finally paid off for him.

There goes the neighborhood. He is going to need a lot of campaign 'donations' now.

Expect a fundraiser to help with Gallagher's defense. It's sickening.

I think Mr. Gallagher finally realized that he is in major trouble and was smart to pick a big-name major league lawyer to represent him. I guess he feels it is worth the money if he wins his case. He also is considering his family and his career. I hope his lawyer is worth it.

This should not be interpreted as a judgment of Brafman's character. He is more than a "mob attorney," he also represented rapper Diddy and supports the Zionist Organization of America. All this means is that Brafman is a successful and well-known attorney, and that Gallagher can afford his services.

Is there any difference between Michael Jackson or Puss Daddy and Gallagher?

the pink piece of crap is VERY worried so he hired a slick mouthpiece to try and beat the rap...

Gallagher's smarter brother, Kevin, is paying for the attorney.

Whew.....what a "De Luxe"mouthpiece!

Pinky must be tapping the Stavisky's bottomless campaign war chest (which, no doubt, they share with "Parkside") in his desperate attempt
to defend himself.

Hey....how come "Parkside" isn't telling Pinky
to stay clear of them?

Maybe it's ecause he's got "the goods" on that
scurvy mob!

"You either pay for my pricey lawyer
or I'll take you guys down with me"!

H-m-m-m-m.

Are they selling season passes to the trial?

If you were a client of Gallagher's "brokerage" brother, would you now be wondering what kind of person is handling your funds?

Think back to Hillary's $100,000 "Cattle futures" "profits". All that money was actually moved from the accounts of clients who were deemed to be gullible suckers.

Perhaps the SEC needs to be auditing the books of the broker's brokerage! And you think?

While we're on this subject, shouldn't Gallagher's band of cohorts be nervous? A good attorney looks to minimize the criminal penalties his client pays. One way to do that is to persuade the client to roll over on others. This just could explain the hiring of an expensive attorney whose fees can beggar a nobody like Gallagher.

Would a brother decide that it is better to transfer the cost to unsuspecting clients? Would the expensive attorney inquire as to the source of the payments? Or, would the answers put his license in jeopardy?

These are questions for the DA and the judge, aren't they?

There needs to be an investigation of Dennis Gallagher's "other" activities including his connection with Brian McLaughlin, his use of campaign funds and kickbacks, his connection with Peter Vallone, and his misuse of council resources.

The accuser told cops Gallagher offered her a ride home, but instead took her to the office, where he forced her onto her knees and tied her hands. He then allegedly raped her and forced her to perform oral sex, according to police reports obtained by The News.

Gallagher says the only thing he did wrong was commit adultery. So he has already lied to his wife and abused the trust of their marriage. There is no reason to think he wouldn't continue to lie if the situation is as serious as the victim claims. Of course this will all have to be sorted out in trial, but starting out it will be an uphill battle for this adulterer and/or rapist to prove his innocence.

He was smiling when he went to court, but I doubt there was any happy emotions from this indicted man. Goodluck to the justice system in prosecuting him to the fullest extent of the law. Dennis has no business representing his slice of Queens, though if he wants to run for cell block president, then go ahead by all means.
