Say it ain't so, Joe!

We realize that Councilman Joe Addabbo may not have anything to do with the health centers that bear his father's name, but he should really contact the people who run this place on Merrick Boulevard and 130th Road and ask them to:
a) upright that sign
b) take down the tacky (and probably illegal) banners on the fence
c) advertise that they have land for sale in a more tasteful way.

There's a real yab-Adabbo-don't.

Damn, that was a good one!

A pig-sty. From one end of this borough to the other, a formerly smart suburban borough has become a filthy eye-sore.

Even central Brooklyn, the Bronx, and East New York are trying to clean up their act.

Every month, by slight incremental steps, this borough sinks down down down.

An apt reflection of Queens' dirty politics!

More aptly a reflection of people who drop the filth to the ground and all around.

Nevertheless, last poster......

Joe's negligence regarding the filth
surrounding the sign that bears his name
might indicate an even deeper neglect
of the community he represents.

Furthermore, a passerby
might amusingly misconstrue that the tilting sign.
indicates crooked politics?

Addabbo doesn't represent that area but I'm sure he'll notify the proper authorities to clean the area there. The private property owner and those who created the mess deserve the barbs.

The condition of this property is a disgrace to his father's name.

I didn't say that Joe represented the area....only that the sign BEARS HIS NAME and it looks like crap.
I wouldn't allow my name be surrounded by shit no matter who was responsible for putting it there in the first place or who's district it was in.

I'll be glad to remove my" barbs" when the trash is removed.
