It's always been a lousy hospital....
good only for simple procedures
but a cut above Astoria General.

Then you have Flushing Hospital....
an immigrant medi-mill.
(Hey, I made an unconscious joke.
Isn't it run by Stephen Mills....ha, ha, ha)?

Does Queens have any good hospitals? If so, do tell.

Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Hospital
actually does have the best rating
even when compared to Manhattan.

but parkway hospital is the closest hospital to la guardia airport. this is very important in case of an emergency and terror attack! this country suppose to be rich? why can't we support a small hospital?

and when closed a lot of people never will get another job? definitely 60 years and older? the unemployment all people of the hospital draw could help the hospital to stay open.

It is about time this hospital closes. It is definitely poorly run. Patients wait for a long time to get help. My mother who was 83 at that time, diagnosed with pneumonia, got very ill care there. It was very disgruntling. I come in , and see the call button far from her, just hanging on the head board, diaper unchanged for hours, I supposed, since the room would fill with smell of urine etc. I mentioned this to one P.A there, but nothing was done. I was happy when she was discharged, since i think I can take better care of my mom at home, than let her stay there in that hospital
