Pelosi to Weiner: Time to go!

From the NY Post:

Democratic leaders are now calling on Rep. Anthony Weiner to resign after the New York lawmaker embroiled in a Twitter scandal admitted he had online contact with a Delaware teenager.

National party chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz says Weiner's behavior is "indefensible" and his role in Congress is "untenable."

The Florida congresswoman says "this sordid affair has become an unacceptable distraction" for everyone.

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi of California says Weiner "needs help" and he should get some "without the pressures of being a member of Congress."

Nancy only cares because he is making the pols the fools they are - if the people in his district are stupid enough to keep him, why not?

Or is does she know that people in Queens do whatever they are told, and are so conditioned to minding what they are told, that even if they pathetically try to do something, like voting for term limits, no one gives a shit anyway.

But that being said, I WANT to see him on Congress - hell they do shit for us anyway, so why not get something out of them like a chuckle every time we see Rangel and Ackerman and Maloney and ... and .... Weiner!!!!

In these grim economic times they can at least do SOMETHING for us like bringing a smile to our face every time we see those nitwits.

I doubt I'm your usual commenter here, but I think Pelosi, Reid and Wasserman should get stuffed. Whether you like him or not, he's a rare congressional representative that vociferously stands up for what he believes. What representative do you know that attends so many activities and events in his home district and defends it so strongly?
We have a sitting Republican senator that regularly solicited prostitutes and this is the battle the Democratic leadership choose to fight? Talk about flexible ethics indeed.

That is one of the funniest things I have read on this site. Weiner has largely been absent from civic discourse since assuming power and has only ramped up his local appearances recently because he wanted to run for mayor. Thank God that's off the table. And as for defending his district, he actually is in favor of a trillion dollar boondoggle rail tunnel that will destroy many of the communities he represents because 1) Jerrold Nadler told him to 2) the railroad interests gave him money. So his constituents come in second to his greed and ambition. Nope, Weiner gotta go.

Anna Chapman, the red-headed Russian spy, said that she liked to blog while in n.y.c.. she boasts 180 friends on Facebook. Do you think the Weiner was her friend ?

Could he have resisted her ?if she had a Time Magazine in her LEFT hand, that was a code that the meeting was in danger.

in May ,2004, one spy turned a bag of money over to a Russian government official, while passing him on the stairway of the Forest Hills, L.I.R.R. stop.

REally????
Is this the worst thing this guy could do.
LOOK AT HIM.
Can you imagine what his social life was like between 16 & 25?
He probably couldnt get laid if he walked in with a bag full of money to a whorehouse (probably in flushing).
NOW, he's a congressman....introduce social media where you dont have to be able to hold a REAL conversation.....and this guy is a superstar......he was looking for a little ass. BIG deal.....for punishment....let him deal with the wrath of his wife when she comes home. That'll be worse than anything an ethics committee can put forward!!!!

I'd like a Weiner to go.

Weiner must be in bigger trouble then then the press is being told.
Drudge claims he checked himself into rehab.
Apparently some out of state cops want to talk to him regarding minors

All the trolls out tonight.

Weiner trying to save himself from jail time, Pelosi just running the smoke machine until he dives offstage. This iceberg keeps getting bigger and bigger the more it runs aground.

If he doesn't resign, then redistricting will get him anyway.

Wonder what the fate of the ninth district will be - my district, too...

in the 1993 period, when the exposing of bubba clinton and his 10-15 bimbos took place,H.R.C did nothing but help to diffuse the sex scandals.

do not count on Huma NOT standing by her man.

She has been with H.R.C since 1997 and is a loyal follower of her cult.

Which has nothing to do with Weiner's future, Gramps. His district will not exist after reapportionment. End of career.

Weiner should go, but I dont recall frothing at the mouth nutter Breitbart going after Arnold in California, David Vitter, or Howard L. Brooks, Republican legislative aide and advisor to a California assemblyman, was charged with molesting a 12-year old boy and possession of child pornography.

Or Bob Barr, Republican Congressman from Georgia. Sponsored the anti-gay Defense of Marriage Act, saying "The flames of hedonism, the flames of narcissism, the flames of self-centered morality are licking at the very foundation of our society, the family unit." Was married three times. Paid for his second wife's abortion. Failed to pay child support to the children of his first two wives and while married to his third and present wife was photographed licking whipped cream off of strippers at his inaugural party.

Merrill Robert Barter, Republican County Commissioner, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual contact and assault on a teenage boy. **Booth Bay Register Article

did not Weiner initially accuse Breitbart for "hacking" into his computer "tweeter" site ? when he knew he was lying ?

is that not grounds for a liable suit ?

a government rep. perjuring himself to the media. that is really a sin.

there are P.O.S on both sides of the aisle. work to elect the honest and moral Americans to rep. us.we all will be safer then.politicians who place themselves in an extortion situation are placing American families lives in danger.

And Weiner is on the way out. Lets not forget Robert McKee Republican delegate from Western Maryland, announced his resignation after authorities seized two computers, videotapes and printed materials from his Hagerstown home in a child pornography investigation. McKee also resigned his position as executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County which he obviously should have not been involved in at all.

Or this sad case also of Mark Foley, Republican Representative Florida Sixteenth Congressional District. Resigned after trying to solicit sex from male congressional pages via an instant messenger program. The conversations included his asking a sixteen-year-old "stud" whether his penis was erect and requesting that he take out and measure his penis.

The cover up involved Republican House Majority Leader John Boehner, Ohio Eighth Congressional District and Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert Illinois.

What's a "liable" suit? Is that anything like a lible suit?

Queens Crapper said...

You mean a libel suit?

I love when people try to be wiseasses by correcting other people but are wrong themselves. It's flippin' hilarious.

Gary the Agnostic said...

Breitbart knows about libel suits since he's being nailed withone now by Shirley Sherrod.

Whether or not Weiner is liable is an interesting question.

former GOP pol. Mark Foley gave his first interview to Hannity last week. He admitted his sexual texting to ONE House Page, and alcoholism. He said the second page lied and their was no proof.

He was asked about whether D.Hastert tried to cover for him? He said Hastert, being a college wrestler, would have punched him in the nose, if he knew of his action of texting the page.

the sexual investigator on this thread only targets the alleged GOP offenders. are there no democrat sex offenders to tell us about ? are you expressing bias ?try to be fair in your sexual probe of the nations politicians.do you want us to help you recall which dems. have been exposed?

Why is "wise ass" 2 words, but
smartass 1 word?

This site is so-o-o educational.
