Another reason the Dutch Kills Millstones should be in the middle of Queens Plaza.

Go live in Wisconpennsyltucky if you don't like the way things are up here. STOP COMPLAINING, THIS IS NEW YORK FUCKING CITY.

It's just the way things are. DEAL WITH IT!

Well now we know why western Queens is the byword with great urban planning ... what about the rest of the city?

Don't worry - every time we go through Queens Plaza we are reminded on what NOT to do to our community.

You don't need new development - just new leadership.

That's Park Av South and E. 28 St if anyone is wondering. Also that video is not recent, as the parking lot has been closed for some time.
So how many actual collisions did we see? This is Manhattan, not everyone is going to line up like good little boys and girls. This is just another day in the city. Life goes on.

I wonder if this kind of chaotic behavior is consider when routing traffic or setting up bike lanes?
Or do they just look at a map and say this looks like a nice place.

Elections in Setauket are all about not letting route 347 off Nipples Road "turn into Queen Blvd", which is why Annie carpetbagged. Don't blame the roads, bikes or cars: blame the bureaucrats. If Robert Moses got to build a highway across 42 Street in Manhattan, congestion pricing would not be needed. Japan has pedestrian overpasses but if you propose that, they will all dress like cattle to protest.

Actually I find NYC traffic like this more calm now than before AFTER I did a tour in Asia (China, Thailand, India, Singapore, etc).
Too bad I didn't capture it on video.. but at least it's not just me who think the same:

India's and Shanghai's traffic:

Yup, that's a bit of a sample of what I experience. And Yet, I haven't seen an accident once over there. Amazing. The taxi drivers are just as crazier..maybe that's why most of them here are Indians. Crazy taxi drivers! lol.
