Rapist on the loose in Laurelton

From Fox 5:

The NYPD is on the hunt for a man who violently threw a woman to the ground in an attempted rape in the Laurelton section of Queens.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect.

He is described by investigators as Black; approximately 18-23 years old and 5'5" tall. The man was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and was carrying a dark colored North Face backpack at the time of the assault.

According to police, on March 12 at around 5:30 p.m., the suspect followed the woman into a building at 141st Avenue and Springfield Boulevard. He grabbed her buttocks, pulled down her pants and attempted to rape her.

A resident startled the suspect who took off when an apartment door opened.
