Purse snatch murderers caught

From the Daily News:

Three teens wanted in the fatal Queens stickup of a young wife shot in front of her hubby were nabbed after they struck again on St. Patrick's Day, cops said Sunday.

Two of the accused robbers, Corey Brown and Ian Green, both 17, were charged with murdering Rabia Mohammed, 23, of Hollis, Queens.

Mohammed and her husband were walking near their home about 9 p.m. last Sunday when three men wearing hooded sweatshirts approached them and ordered her to hand over her purse.

Mohammed refused. As she and her husband were struggling with the hooded crooks, two gunshots ripped into her torso, killing her, police said.

Brown, of Brooklyn, and Green, of Queens, were busted for a gunpoint robbery on St. Patrick's Day - along with a third teen, Tiyquon Hodges, police said.

Repeat offenders - why is the Captain not surprised?

ROUND UP THE USUAL SUSPECTS!!!

I SWEAR THOSE DAMNED CAUCASIONS AT IT AGAIN. THIS NEEDS TO STOP, WE NEED TO PUT ALL THESE WHITE PEOPLE BEHIND BARS ALREADY.

Proper names aren't allowed in Scrabble, Anon #1...."tsunami" would be better, though, because you'd get 50 bonus points( if you could lay down all 7 letter tiles) plus the points for the word plus whatever premium spaces you get. Maybe Tiyquon will learn these Scrabble rules in prison....

Don't worry...their parents will be in the papers claiming how its a mistake or their angles have never harmed a fly.

3 more young African-American* "bros" in jail. And the racial hustlers will inevitably cry out discrimination in the prison population. Am I right or wrong? Why weren't the parents of the 17 year olds demanding that their sons be at home doing their homework hitting the books? [Oh, you know the answer. Me bad.]

*My apologies if Brown, Green and Hodges are of Asian ancestry.

Remind me again why we don't have the death penality? (Not on the books - in regular use)

their parents say that they were straight A honor students .

She should have just gave up the purse from the start. Well not give it up but, well it was a robbery and now she's dead.

I taught at least one of the accused. This act was horrible and they deserve to pay for the life that was taken. They can never truly make what they did better. As a teacher and a mother I think that what you are doing in posting these types of comment shows your ignorance. You can't paint an entire race for the actions of three young men. African American men are dynamic and deal with adversities you will never understand. Maybe you should actually meet a few before you condemn a race.

Cry me a river. They have access to social help whites will never have. Most choose to go the thug hip-hop lifestyle cause they think its their "culture".

"I taught at least one of the accused."

Was he an honor student?

Who's condemning the race? I was condemning the race hustlers who visually bean count the color of the prison population.

true dat....
they either resided their entire lives in their parents subsidized NYCHA apartments or in their parent's subsidized section 8 apartments. they were most likely products of the day care system and watched the anti white television program, Sesame Street.

if these three were foster children I would be very surprised.

what a horrible world that is being born where adults have to be terrified, wary and with good reason, afraid of children, teenagers. these are 17 year old boys. A woman is dead and their lives are destroyed, they will be fodder for the criminal justice system.

wonder how many teachers and other students they have terrorized over the years?

why isn't anything being done about little wanna be thugs in the NYC Public Schools? ask a teacher what is really going on.

You are a Teacher? Thank you for proving those that speak negatively about your profession that they just might be right. What was derogotory about this post? The story is the story! At no point was race even mentioned(IT SHOULD HAVE!) I for one would like to know the type of people committing these crimes! Meet a few? Your ignorance is frightening. Teacher? Where? How? You should be ashamed of yourself. If one of your teachers answered questions on your test before reading it, you would get upset, fail them, call the Assistant Principal and DEMAND that something be done about this child. "He/She does not follow directions, I cant take them in my class" or something similar.

I for one refuse to believe you are a teacher, and if you are your Prinicpal and direct supervisor should walk into your classroom more often to see what is going on.

SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR IGNORANCE. PLEASE FROM NOW ON KEEP YOUR COMMENTS SECRET IN ORDER NOT TO DISGRACE THE PROFESSION FURTHER.

That is the stupidest thing I've read all day. What is wrong with you?! Not a bad person? What do you define bad then? Maybe I should rob your ass clean with a gun to your head and afterwards we can hang out and be buddies. I ain't so bad, y'all.

REAL IS THAT WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY WHERE THE VILLIAN BECOMES THE VICTIM AND THE RACE CARD IS PULLED ONE TOO MANY TIMES.

WAS HE THERE?

DID HE TRY TO ROB HER?

DID AN INNOCENT DIE?

ARE THE ACCUSED OF A CERTAIN ETHNICITY?

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT ETHNICITIES ARE COMMITING WHAT TYPE OF CRIMES?

NOT THAT OTHER ETHNICITIES DO NOT COMMIT SIMILAR CRIMES BUT IF I HAVE TO HAVE A SURGERY AND THERE IS A 90% CHANCE I WON'T MAKE IT OUT ALIVE, WELL THEN I WON'T HAVE THE SURGERY. IF I SEE A GROUP OF WHATEVER THE FCK THEY ARE AND THERE IS A 90% CHANCE OF GETTING GOT! THEN I WILL TRY TO GO ANOTHER WAY, OR AT LEAST BE PREPARED.

To find out hes a killer and i was his friend makes me want to transfer... Its a big dissapointment because he was a basketball star and could have been somebody... Why do we act like we have nothing to live for with the world in our hands?
