Catholic Charities gets Fineson

From The Real Deal:

The Catholic Charities Progress of Peoples Development Corporation has been chosen to purchase and develop a site in Queens into low- and moderate-income senior housing, according to a press release from the New York State Housing Finance Agency. Construction at the Howard Beach site, which is currently the location of the Bernard Fineson Developmental Disabilities Senior Office and is in the process of being closed, is expected to take 15 to 18 months. Eighty of the units at 155-55 Cross Bay Boulevard in Southwest Queens will be reserved for people over age 60. The other 20 units will go to individuals supported by the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
