Food distributor relocating to Astoria

A one-story, 50,000-square-foot warehouse at 26-01/26-15 4th St. in the Astoria section of Queens has sold for $4.3 million to AA Holding, Neil Dolgin, EVP of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, announced Thursday.

A supermarket food distributor based in Long Island City, AA purchased the building... The company serves retail grocers in the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan and Long Island. Gould Paper was a former tenant and has since vacated the space, according to KDA.

Good, Good, Good. It's about time we stopped seeing everything turned in "luxury" housing. I hope jobs come with this relocation. I intend to find out what they distribute and make a point of buying those brands.

Um... isn't this the area between Shore Towers and Hallets Cove Park (you read that right) slated for a massive wall of towers?

you know ... a few units ... of 10,000 or so people?

One of the mayor's targeted five areas of Queens development?
