On the road back to Schleicher

More than a dozen College Point residents who have been homeless for nearly seven months took a big step toward returning home on Christmas Eve, but tensions were running high at Queens Civil Court in Jamaica.

After several hours of bickering and confusion between the tenants and owners of Schleicher’s Court, Civil Court Judge Maria Ressos signed a court order that set up a six−week schedule for emergency wiring repairs to be completed at the Victorian home.

Now if they were developers that wanted to put up a 9 story building then the front page of every weakly in Queens would have breathless full color renderings of their project.

BTW, how many politicans are involved? Where is boro hall?

Where is the preservation community?

How true,i guess the only news chanel that thought we were interesting enough was NY1.My sincere thank's goes out to reporter''Mr.Cefaan Kim''who was always there to show the real story, from the beginning. And many thanks to ''Councilman Mr.Tony Avella''who has showed us his full support&has fought right by our side to help us..Also many thanks to reporter, from ''The Whitestone Times'' Mr.Stephen Stirling, who gave a weekly report of our story. How this had to take all this time??This is a disgrace..And thru all of our suffering,we have an individual who is trying to harm our reputations,by slandering us,with such lies..This is an obsessed, racist person, that has gone thru such lengths to harm us,when all we want to do is go home..But this evil person''has a method to his madness''And now wants to buy our Mansion&as he put it ''Get rid of us N____rs&S____cs&rent to only ''Chinese''who would not give him a problem....Since when is wanting ''Electric''Hot Water''&Heat a problem??Only if you are a ''SlumLORD''

Thank you. This is a story, that i never would have believed that this could happen to me&my family.Six months of my life...this has caused so much change in my life,i lost my 12 year job,due to the amount of time i had to take off.I was forced to resign. My relationship has suffered. All we ask is to be able to live in a safe environment, especially with the high rents this Slumlord charges...i pay well over $2,000.00 to live in these antiquated conditions,unbelievable..but i feel better knowing that thru all our suffering, someone finally made this ''Slumlord do what she should have done years ago..An elderly man died in the basement years ago, with his dog...it was an illegal apartment..it was a fire, but the Slumlord says it was because of fireworks, but we all know better...
