Those cozy with City Council Speaker Christine Quinn (D-Manhattan) seem to have an easier time getting legislation passed than her foes, documents obtained by the Daily News reveal.
City Councilmen Tony Avella (D-Queens) and Charles Barron (D-Brooklyn), Quinn's most outspoken critics, count a total of four bills since 2002, a review of records show.
Meanwhile, the speaker had 35 bills inked into law during that period, and Councilman David Weprin (D-Queens), her closest ally in the Council, had 78 passed.
"The speaker is very vindictive, and when you oppose the speaker, she doesn't let bills go through," Avella and some other Council members charged.
Schmooze Christine Quinn and get bills passed, cross her and get nowhere, say pols
