Two-Ton Tony keeping busy

From the Times Ledger:

State Assemblyman Anthony Seminerio (D−Richmond Hill) is not letting his indictment on fraud charges get in the way of his day job.

The 73−year−old legislator has been one of the more prolific bill writers in Albany since the legislative session began last week.

Seminerio is the main sponsor of 42 bills so far, ranging from legislation paving the way for Queens to secede from the city to prohibiting professional co−ed boxing matches.

Right on Tony. I'm for the flogging. The Graffiti-ists AND the Politicians: McLauglin, Hevesi, Sabini, Gallagher, Monsterrat, and Two-Ton himself.

Whack-whack-whack. Let the blood flow. More fun than a Shiite Ashura celebration.

I think Two Ton Tony should secede from Queens, but he's pretty much immobile.

No shame at all. I hope someone who is not from politics or a political family steps forward to run for this seat. Let us begin to vote in the unknown guy or gal. I say give them a chance, let someone new give it a try. It is a start and by electing someone who isn't "connected” to the machines maybe we can send a message. The message being: we are sick and tired of the patronage and dishonesty, we want you to work for our interest not the special interest of a few.

And if he wants grafitti to be punished by paddling, then it should be the good old cat-o-nine tails for crooked pols.

Good lookin' out, Tony.

When your name is all cleared up, I'll take you out for a beer to watch an all-male boxing match in the city of Queens!

And then we'll go home drunk to paddle our kids and our problems away. Just like the old times...
