Q70 bus illegal idling, hydrant parking caught in the act in Woodside

I've been making 311 complaints since January regarding illegally idling Q70 buses on 61st St in Woodside (multiple buses just put on their hazards and block the street). Yesterday at 5 pm I found one *parked in front of a hydrant* on 39th Ave (driver apparently napping in the back seat). The neighbors say it happens all the time.

Around the corner on 61st were two more idling buses, outside the "drop off only" zone that *always* has two parked vehicles, and the actual bus stop on Roosevelt. Needless to say, buses more or less permanently occupying the southbound lane on 61st makes for a massive honking traffic disaster.

What a zoo! That 61st Street by the post office: LaG mostly empty trailer buses, LIRR parked repair trucks, lime-green taxis, regular travelling and turning traffic, and pedestrians. All vying for the roadway. Surprised no one injured or killed there since the LaG bus intro...and even before!

It's remarkable to pay a quick visit this website and reading the views
of all colleagues concerning this post, while I am also eager of getting familiarity.

These guys are always leaving their busses While they hang out in the Station Bar while on duty. Someone should be looking into that. At the very least it really looks bad, bus drivers walking into and out of a bar.

Not defending these guys but they are on their break when you see them in the back taking a little nap. I don’t blame them though, after dealing with traffic and all the other nonsense, 20 minutes of silence with your eyes closed can go a long way.

The bigger question is why are so many of you still living in the crappiest, most expensive, way overly crowded, majorly filthy, congested and overrated city. It is a BIG country, many other places to live, get a job and live a less stressful life with a better quality of life. I took the plunge awhile back, I think many of you should too. Because you know what, it is not going to get better in NYC, in fact it will get worse.

Whatever you do, don't come to Delaware, it is already loaded with leftists from NY, NJ and CT who could not afford to retire in their home states. Yet they vote for the same leftist Dems that caused them to leave. Soon I will be relocating to Wyoming.
