Lots of information on those phones. The people who got victimized might as well cancel their accounts, burn their cards, and change their names.

Or just get flip phones.

This is just the beginning of a new petty crime wave. The proper attention will be heeded once this starts happening in Park Slope, LIC, Williamsburgh and any other gentrified spot.

People look foolish and are very vulnerable when in public walking and talking into their crystal balls. They are tripping, walking into objects and each other and I love the look on their face when I refuse to move out of their perceived entitled way.

Try not walking down the street with one glued to your face and be aware of your surroundings.

Two people are to blame for the rise in petty crime in this city: MAYOR DIBLASSIO & MELISSA MARK-VIVERITO.

If you are carrying an $800 phone expect to have it grabbed at a most opportunistic moment by some thief.
Remember those dorks who all had their highly visible gold disco chains snatched a few decades past?
Nobody wants my simple, but effective, Olde Tyme Samsung.
Stop texting and keep a watchful eye. Most millennials have their heads in a cloud. This is fucking New York City. Stay alert!
Or, as a subway poster warns, "Don't play dumb with your smart phone"!

Well, just look at the ethnic composition of Elmhurst.
Therein lies your problem. Flushing might be filthy but Elmhurst is full of thieves and....LOL..."rapists"... as Der Donald might say.
