Long walk to get to subway

Typical Queens - Archie and Edith treated like shit and totally clueless as to what is happening -

now if it was hipsters stupid enough to move next to a trainyard like in LIC, why every SOB and his brother would be out there decrying the plight.

Headlines written, blah blah blah

Why don't they just keep the exit on the south side of Queens Blvd open until the new exit is unveiled? I have walked over to the cemetary side exit numerous times, and without a traffic signal, pedestrians would really be risking their lives everytime they crossed over.

Sounds good to me; subway being upgraded. Only that confused and confusing Mocker (and Queens Crap) choose to turn a positive into a negative.

I agree that there should be a traffic signal since trusting NY drivers to actually give a damn about pedestrians is too much to ask. Light or no light, every one of those drivers broke the law by not giving right of way to pedestrians at that corner. Are basic right of way rules not being taught in drivers education classes anymore?

Do they have drivers ed in the countries today's Queens residents come from?

Another story the weeklies had two weeks ago. So sad.

The cares in that area come whipping around the cemetary from Queens Blvd at 50 MPH and upwards. Good luck making is across that street without sprinting.
