Bloomberg wants Quinn to succeed him

From the NY Times:

It is the worst-kept secret in City Hall. Michael R. Bloomberg has told almost everyone who asks — but only privately, so far — that he hopes the City Council speaker, Christine C. Quinn, will succeed him as mayor in 2013.

While Mr. Bloomberg brings unprecedented personal resources to his political agenda, few other New York City mayors have succeeded in anointing a successor.

Mr. Bloomberg, in fact, was the only mayoral candidate in recent memory for whom an endorsement by the incumbent proved instrumental, even if it was a begrudging, last-minute nudge from Rudolph W. Giuliani.

Mr. Bloomberg, an independent, has refrained from specifying an heir publicly, since he seems to prefer to keep Ms. Quinn, a Democrat, and other prospective candidates as compliant as possible in the two years remaining before the next mayoral election.

Its either her or Liu with his vacant creepy grin (remember him hovering in the background when Rangel got re-elected)

She will be a one termer - not bright enough to be low key like all good politicians she will grate on people from the word go.

We cannot afford even one term of Christine Quinn as mayor. She represents real estate developers, not voters. What has she done to restore a full-service hospital in her very own City Council district ? With all her free time, all she seems to do is to dole out taxpayer money through her private slush fund. During these hard times, Speaker Quinn's council district must go without a full-service hospital, but Speaker Quinn insists on her slush fund. Shame on her !!!

We've already have a prissy lesbian as mayor.

Just what we need: a radical big fat ugly lesbian as mayor!

Don't count Weiner out. He's still got a large war chest. Among Weiner, Quinn, Liu, whom to chose?

The New York Times leaves out the second-worst kept secret. Bloomberg wants to pick the Republican candidate who will run against Quinn or Liu as well.

Come on hacks, we can do a better job than that.

As poster #2 said, she will represent the real estate interests. Now how does a city get so f*#ked up by giving us choices like her and Liu?

Because of you. Take a look at the Civics here in Queens. When QCC met with her did they say anything about overturning term limits?

Take a look at your electeds and your district leader. Do they serve your interests or simply in it for a job?

You, dear people, are ultimately responsible for the system we get.

Of course he wants the slush fund queen. He can still call the shots and pull her puppet strings. A vote for Quinn is equivalent to Bloomberg's 4th term. There is still time for someone to step up and run against Liu and Quinn. Anyone out there?

Isn't Matt Silverstein just another insider Democrat? More of the same, just more of the same. Write in your votes, stay away from incumbents and party insiders.

Of course he wants Quinn as mayor. He shovels her money during her term and plays the puppet master.

Bloomberg wants Quinn to suck-seed him!

Imagine a kitty-licker on Der Mayor's
joint?

That's using her head for political gain.
