Parks Dept makes its own parking rules

"Hello, this is a picture taken July 2, approx. 2 pm in front of Rite Aid in Flushing on 193rd St. and Northern Blvd. It is a Parks Department car, blatantly parking in front of the hydrant. This was done for pure convenience, as there is no park for more than 12 blocks. Completely unacceptable." - anonymous

Rite Aid has a huge parking lot!

There's actually a park about 4-5 blocks away, but whatev. No, they shouldn't be parking there.

Good photo. Did you also get one of the plate? Document, document, document. Shame still works--with some. It is the only thing that keeps some of these SOBs in line.

THE PARKS DEPARTMENT IS OUT OF CONTROL.

AS A TAXPAYER...I WANT TO KNOW WHY THEY HAVE SO MUCH MONEY IN THEIR BUDGET AND THE REST OF THE CITY IS BROKE?????

Hey there's a parking lot right around the corner. I know they're assholes, but do they have to be so arrogant about it??

With all city official cars this happens. It has always happened and always will. Find a better cause to get behind and get over this. Let's keep it moving

I see someone in the drivers seat, which would make it legal. Take a closer look!
