A Walk Down Flushing Avenue, 1929

Forgotten-NY takes us down the Queens stretch of Flushing Avenue in 1929, based on an exhibit by the Newtown Historical Society. Pictured is the corner of Woodward Avenue in Ridgewood.

Nice work! Its about time we move from endless discussions of the 'Underground Railroad', and serving up an exhibit based on the word 'Immigrant' a 1000 different ways.

Amazing what can happen when people can think, be creative, and stop endlessly waiting for a handout from a hack that knows shit about history - or even cares for that matter.

Kevin Walsh. You did it again. Always like reading about the bygone days. More. More.
