Council District 23 debate video
From BoroPolitics.com:
State Assemblyman Mark Weprin (D-Little Neck) and community activists Bob Friedrich and Swaranjit Singh squared off during the hour-long discussion, which was hosted by the TimesLedger’s parent group, the Community Newspaper Group. On several questions the three came to an agreement on some of the solutions for tackling the issues in the 23rd Council District, which covers Hollis, Queens Village, Little Neck, Douglaston, Bayside, Bellerose, Floral Park, Glen Oaks, New Hyde Park and Fresh Meadows.

Is there really a documented "New Hyde Park" neighborhood in Queens? I always thought it was a part of Glen Oaks that is served by the Nassau County - New Hyde Park 11040 post office.
there's a small sliver of a nabe that's called "NHP" in Queens. I think its due to the borders between the towns of Flushing N Hempstead being delineated one way but the streets not following that border. qv http://www.unhp.org/crg/indy-maps-queenszip.html
