The Promise of New York

A blogger turned stand-up comic, an obsessive political gadfly and a high-school math teacher compete against each other and arch rival incumbent Michael Bloomberg for the post of New York City mayor. As these ordinary citizens take politics into their own hands, The Promise of New York explores the meaning of democracy and the identity of a city with hilarious irreverence and thought-provoking sensitivity.

I saw the movie last Saturday---it is very good--enjoyable yet penetrating---if it is playing near where you are---go!

The dumbkopf who is using the Hitler reference on Bloomberg is hurting his own cause.

As for these third party candidates, we need more of them on the local level, where they stand more of a chance at winning.

A neighborhood blogger has more of a chance at winning a local council seat than the US Senate.
