Thanks for the reminder

From The Politicker:

Not for the first time, Hank Sheinkopf is attacking Melinda Katz for what he says is an overly cozy relationship with New York’s landlords and real estate community.

He points to an invitation to a fund-raiser she’s having at the home of Howard Milstein, described alternately as a “real estate magnate” and a “real estate mogul."

Sheinkopf, a spokesman for comptroller candidate David Weprin, said Katz "lives out of the real estate industry" and "that’s where her allegiances lie."

Obvi0usly Weprin is blowing the wistle (sp) on her, just as Avella does all the time on fellow Council members. So how many voters are going to vote for the honest ones? Guess that's not much fun. Might not have anything to complain about except the weather.

And her house in FH is now up for sale while she looks for a mansion in the sky in Manhattan...

...and her face lift was done with taxpayer money.

She has never been to Elmhurst, yet alone ever represented it as she should.

She should step down from office - she is a real impediment to the well being of the communities her district resides in.

...had Fund Raiser with Rent Guidelines Board. Wonder how much Landlord Reps gave?

Remember, she never wanted to be a City Council member-- she got stuck with the position 8 years ago and always regreted it. She HATES her constituency. Good riddance!

Anybody see interview (Campaign Ad?) in this week's Chronicle with Malinda Katz?

90,000 affordable units, where are they? Last month Bloomberg said 60,000 units. Please Bloomberg and Katz tell us where they are.
