Water Board ready to screw us again

From the Queens Gazette:

City Comptroller William Thompson, on the attack again against the Bloomberg administration's water rate increases, has proposed using federal stimulus funds to head off another water hike.

Thompson, who plans to challenge Mayor Michael Bloomberg in this year's mayoral election, said he will propose the stimulus funds solution on Friday when the Water Board meets to consider raising water rates again. He will be joined by City Councilmember David Weprin, who will also be pressing efforts to avert another rate hike.

Last year the board approved a 14.5 percent rate increase.

This is the price you pay for the mandated filtration system that is being constructed up in woodlawn. You know there will be cost overruns and corruption. Then there will be the cost of operating and maitenance. Do what i do, take a dump at work, and i also shave there.Since i work for the city, let B-Bergg pay for it! Conserve people!!!!!!!!!!

Water is a necessity to live. We should not have to pay for water at all. What started as a small amount of money has ballooned, causing hardship for many families. You can't live without water. When is this going to end? End the rates altogether!

I saw this coming and drilled a well, pump, tank and reverse osmoses system.
I also test the well water every 4 months.
Its cleaner then city water.

Electric Power is going to syrocket as well.
Im putting in low voltage LED lighting and a 200 watt solar panel.
The trick is to use 12 volt marine appliances, LCD's, Computers and do away with DC to AC Inverters.

I eventually plan to just use AC power for the washer, drier and well pump

Hyper-inflation is coming

THEY TELL US TO GO GREEN AND USE THE TAP WATER TO REFILL OUR PLASTIC BOTTLES, SHIT WITH THIS INCREASE IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO BUY BOTTLED WATER, OR IS THAT THERE PLAN???

I do remember hearing that every time you reuse a plastic bottle,it leeches more of whatever chemicals from that bottle, and "Joe" where are you located that you could drill your own well ? maybe you hit someone elses line ? LOL-- !...anyway,it's simply business as usual. They're always so creative in funding, astute economists..""why...we'll raise their taxes !"

The DEP needs the money to buy some more company cars to use for their personal use.

GIVE ME A BREAK! HOW MUCH MORE OF THIS CAN WE TAKE!
